The best person (or people) to assess the performance of strategies and tactics to goals are the ones creating the goals. If you are passionate about doing something that educates you and brings you joy, but you're holding back because someone has told you you'll do it all wrong, remember whose goal it is...it's yours. We should also let others assess goal performance but only if they truly understand the goals and objectives strategies and tactics roll up to.
